Our beloved doggy is a very busy guy. After we leave the house for school and work, he is in charge of the house. I guess he stays pretty busy throughout the day because when we come home he's always lounging on the loveseat as if he's put in a hard day at the office.Even though our favorite hound dog is getting older, he is always up for posing for a pic and playing in the snow.
Isosceles' Day by Kevin J. Meehan is a whimsical picture book about a big ol' dog and his tiny friend Mole. As we read Isoceles' Day, I pictured our doggy with a playmate like Mole.
From being awakened by friend Mole, to a breakfast of dancing eggs, howling and grunting with Moose, time spent with Frog and Platypus, lunchtime with Lizard, playing it cool with Mouse, listening to drums with Prairie Dog, riding in a wagon with Rhino, drinking from a hose with Goose, and a lullaby with Frog, come share a fun day with Isosceles, a happy rescue dog, and his animal friends!
The kids had fun reading this book. Isosceles' Day is an ideal read for dog lovers or those who are hoping to add a doggy to the family.
He's been in our lives for nearly 12 years now and we can't imagine life without him. He's a part of our family but I have to admit sometimes I wonder what kinda mischief he gets in while we are away.
Isosceles' Day is available at bookstores worldwide including Amazon, Barnes and Noble and more.

We do have a family pet. We have two kitties! We used to have a hamster, but sadly, he died.
