We were getting ready for church and I posted a pic on Facebook saying "Dinner will be ready when we get home." By the time I arrived at church I had several folks asking what I was making for dinner.
Place chicken on top of liner, cover and set on High for 5 hours or Low for 8-10 hours. Look at all the little drumsticks all lined up.
Dinner is served and clean up is super easy. Just lift the foil and wipe out the crockpot. Easy breezy.
Crockpot Chicken is a regular in our house. Hubby likes it. The kids like it and it's super simple to make. People laugh when I tell them how easy it is to make.
It's definitely one of those "Set It and Forget It" recipes and it doesn't require a lot of cleanup afterwards. Can we say "yaaaaaay"!!!
The recipe starts with a dozen drumsticks, minced garlic, San-J Orange Sauce and some honey, if you like honey. At 2 drumsticks a person, you can easily feed a family of 6.
Place chicken in a large bowl and pour 1/2 cup of San-J Orange Sauce over the chicken. The Orange Sauce is one of our favorites but any of the San-J sauces work for this recipe Try the Teriyaki, Asian BBQ, Mongolian and Sweet and Tangy sauces and see which one your family prefers.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of minced garlic over the chicken. You can also add 2 tsp. of honey if so inclined. The sauce has a tasty blend of spices which really seep into the chicken like a rich marinade.
To minimize crockpot clean up, line your crockpot with a nonstick foil like the one pictured below. If you don't have a nonstick foil, you may want to spray the crockpot with some cooking spray to minimize sticking.Place chicken on top of liner, cover and set on High for 5 hours or Low for 8-10 hours. Look at all the little drumsticks all lined up.
