Easy Crockpot Orange Chicken

We were getting ready for church and I posted a pic on Facebook saying "Dinner will be ready when we get home."  By the time I arrived at church I had several folks asking what I was making for dinner.
Crockpot Chicken is a regular in our house.  Hubby likes it.  The kids like it and it's super simple to make.  People laugh when I tell them how easy it is to make.

It's definitely one of those "Set It and Forget It" recipes and it doesn't require a lot of cleanup afterwards.  Can we say "yaaaaaay"!!!

The recipe starts with a dozen drumsticks, minced garlic, San-J Orange Sauce and some honey, if you like honey. At 2 drumsticks a person, you can easily feed a family of 6.
Place chicken in a large bowl and pour 1/2 cup of San-J Orange Sauce over the chicken. The Orange Sauce is one of our favorites but any of the San-J sauces work for this recipe Try the Teriyaki, Asian BBQ, Mongolian and Sweet and Tangy sauces and see which one your family prefers.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of minced garlic over the chicken. You can also add 2 tsp. of honey if so inclined.  The sauce has a tasty blend of spices which really seep into the chicken like a rich marinade.
To minimize crockpot clean up, line your crockpot with a nonstick foil like the one pictured below.  If you don't have a nonstick foil, you may want to spray the crockpot with some cooking spray to minimize sticking.
Place chicken on top of liner, cover and set on High for 5 hours or Low for 8-10 hours. Look at all the little drumsticks all lined up.
Dinner is served and clean up is super easy.  Just lift the foil and wipe out the crockpot.  Easy breezy.

I love using my slow cooker year round and I'm always on the lookout for new recipes. I like to use boneless chicken thighs when I'm making chicken in the slow cooker.

I always line our crock pot. It makes for easy clean up. I did have to run over to the San-J website to check. Their orange sauce is actually gluten free! Just ordered some to try this.

I love how easy this is! I have been gathering up easy crock pot recipes for the fall. I'm trying to cook more often, but honestly, I'm not the best at it when there are a lot of ingredients, so this is perfect!

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...
