I'm going to #BlogHer17 *tosses confetti*

I'm going to #BlogHer17 in Orlando!

Last year I had the honor of attending BlogHer.  BlogHer is the crème de la crème of social media conferences.  BlogHer is the conference all other conferences wanna be when they grow up.  BlogHer is... well you get the picture of my luv for BlogHer.

Our BlogHer '16 trip was a vacay in itself.  My Ark Diamond Diva sis, Cin, and I loaded up the Kia Sorrento and took our sons and her daughter on the road trip of a lifetime.

This Road Warrior Diva with fam in tow planned an epic adventure with stops in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a swim at the Blue Hole.

We were all were looking forward to the trip.

Me?  It's BlogHer.

Cin?  Finally seeing what the hubbub is about this "blogging" thing.

Cass?  First trip to Cali.

The kids?  I don't think they heard anything about the events or pristine list of speakers other "Kim K". Oh yeah, Kim K was one of the featured guest speakers last year.

Funny story.  I opted to forego the Kim K. luncheon figuring it'd be heavily attended and went to a Lamps Plus luncheon - which was amazing.  After lunch I met the kids in the lobby and was surprised to see them looking sad.  Really sad.

"Did you eat?" I asked.
"Yes ma'am", they replied.

"Did you see Kim K?"
"Yes ma'am", they replied sadly.

"OMG, what's wrong?  Did something happen?"
Both boys sunk deeper into the lobby couch.

Turns out their phones died.  Sympathy?  Nope

1. They were at a social media conference.
2. Not just ANY ol' social media conference they were at BlogHer... THE Social Media Conference.  There were plenty of places to charge their phones.

Fortunately, they managed to snap a little of Kim K's Meet and Greet and it just so happened to be the day SnapChat released a feature allowing saving of snaps.

Thank goodness.

This year, I'm going to BlogHer and will have my brother, my twin sons and my nephew in tow.  Family.  BlogHer.  Orlando.  This can ONLY be amazing.  *screams in excitement*

I'm going to BlogHer 17?  Are you??

Let me know, leave a comment below.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...
