Aww what a great option! My daughter is now 2.5 and kind of understanding the concept of Santa. I hate that she didn't get the full experience this year but this is a great option!

Still, there are so many reasons to celebrate Christmas! Even Santa really had his plans. He would not let the Christmas spirit be absent this year. Very nice!

wonderFALL Giveaway Hop!

Can you believe it's FALL already? Seems like just yesterday we were chillin' in a hammock on a beach sippin' margaritas in Cozumel.  Really, I was just chillin' in a hammock on a beach sippin' margaritas in Cozumel just a couple of weeks ago and now it's Fall and it's all about the pumpkin spice. I had to share this super easy take on the $$ pumpkin spice latte at the the  ooh la la, fancy-schmancy, trendy coffee houses.  Save your money and make it at home.  Shoot, they're cheap enough you can enjoy a few of these without bustin' your budget. Ingredients: 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice 2 tsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. pumpkin puree 1 1/2 c. almond milk, soy milk or milk of your choice Sugar to taste 1/2 cup expresso or really strong coffee Directions: Pour pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, pumpkin puree in a saucepan over medium heat and stir til mixed well and heated throughout.  You want to make sure the pumpkin mix is nice and smooth.  No o

And the older kids get, the more you will spend. Every mom could use more money. But who has hours to search for coupons just to save a few dollars? And sure, you know you should learn how to get the most o

The kids are back in school and we are back to the hustle and bustle of another school year.  I am so excited as I have a high school senior this year and we are looking forward to a banner year! He's super busy and doesn't always make time to grab something for breakfast  so I like to keep some of his favorites on hand so he can just grab 'n go on his way out the door.  One of his favorites is our Easy Breakfast Burritos.   Easy Breakfast Burritos He's a master of the microwave so these quick 'n easy breakfast omelettes in a mug are a fave. Omelette in a Mug He loves pancakes so keep homemade pancake mix on hand.  All he has to do is grab a scoop of the mix, add milk and he can whip a stack of pancakes on the stove or in the microwave.  Pancakes So many choices and that is why we are so excited to participate in the Color Me Lucky Giveaway Hop hosted by Mama the Fox.  We're giving one lucky Three Boys and an Old Lady blog reader an Alex an
