Frankie's Scared of EVERYTHING Book + more Giveaway

Happy Halloween!

Have we got the perfect Halloween read for kiddos ages 4-8!

Frankie's Scared of EVERYTHING by tattoo artist Mathew Franklin (10/7/2019; Building Block Press; ISBN: 978-1944201227; Age 4-8; 32 pages; Hardcover $19.95)
You would be scared too if your own brain was out to get you!

The world can be a dark place. More and more we find ourselves and our children feeling overwhelmed by the unknown and the pressures of society. This book helps instill early on the fact that our fears can be our greatest strengths.

Follow Frankie as their imagination runs wild creating robots, beasts, sea creatures, and even a mole man on this technicolor adventure.

Being afraid has never looked so fun.

About the author/illustrator: Mathew Franklin is a tattoo artist, painter, graphic designer, and musician. After receiving degrees in painting and photography from Miami University he immediately became a staple in the art scene in Columbus, Ohio where he currently resides.

We loved this read.  It was perfect for the Youngest One to read to the Littlest One.  Nothing like sibling time.  The graphics are bold and rich and the text is inviting.  The language is easy to read for new readers.  This is definitely worth reading all the way to the end!

Frankie's Scared of EVERYTHING is available at bookstores nationwide and online at retailers including Amazon, Barnes and Noble and more.

Check out the trailer for Frankie's Scared of EVERYTHING

One lucky Three Boys and an Old Lady blog reader will receive a very spooky prize package consisting of Frankie's Scared of EVERYTHING, two temporary tattoos, and a neon mini-notebook for letting their own imaginations run wild.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...
