Uncover the Mystery When Nancy Drew And The Hidden Staircase Arrives from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital March 26, 2019 and on Blu-ray™ Combo Pack & DVD on April 2, 2019
Based on the Bestselling Book!

The iconic mystery solving teenager from the classic Nancy Drew books is back with an all-new feature length film that will keep you guessing until the very end! Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Nancy Drew And The Hidden Staircase on Digital starting March 26, 2019 and Blu-ray™ Combo Pack & DVD on April 2, 2019. Executive Produced by Ellen DeGeneres, the film stars Sophia Lillis (IT and “Sharp Objects”), Sam Trammell (“True Blood” and “This is Us”), and Linda Lavin (“The Good Wife” and“Alice”) and follows Nancy Drew in her new town, making new friends and on a mission to solve the case! The film carries a suggested retail price of $19.99 for the Digital, $19.98 for the DVD and $28.98 for the Blu-ray Combo Pack.

After the death of his wife, Carson Drew decides to leave Chicago behind and make a fresh start with his daughter in River Heights. But for 16-year-old Nancy Drew, life in a small town is mighty dull. She longs for excitement, adventure, and the chance to make a difference. Nancy gets that opportunity when she is asked to help solve the ghostly activity at the Twin Elms mansion. Can she help explain the creaking footsteps, exploding lightbulbs and the ominous creature? Is it the handiwork of high-school bully Derek Barnes? Or is it possible that the ghost of original owner Malcolm Colfax is back for revenge? Recruiting her best friends George and Bess, along with local “mean girl” Helen, Nancy Drew is on the case!

“Nancy Drew has been a source of inspiration to countless girls as she has her wits and ingenuity to solve intriguing mysteries. Now, Nancy is back in an all-new film from Ellen DeGeneres,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, WBHE, Vice President, TV Marketing, Family & Animation. “Cast perfectly with Sophia Lillis as Nancy Drew, this mystery has a modern-day edge as Nancy learns about responsibility and friendship while solving mysteries.”

Nancy Drew And The Hidden Staircase is produced by A Very Good Production and A Red 56 Productions. Based on the novel by Carolyn Keene, the film is Executive Produced by Ellen DeGeneres and Wendy Williams (Free Ride), with Jeff Kleeman (The Man From U.N.C.L.E.) and Chip DiggIns (A Walk In The Woods) serving as producers and Rachel Abarbanell (“Splitting Up Together”) as Co-Producer. I’d read a few as a kid, but only really started reading them with semi-regularity in my late-‘20s—and I am a huge fan. I love that she knows how to do everything. I love that we get the details of all of the huge meals she and Bess and George eat.
I loved Nancy Drew, and read everything Nancy I could get my hands on!

Yes I was addicted to reading the Nancy Drew books, while growing up. My mom would always buy me the newest book for holidays or as a present. I still have the whole collection of the hardback yellow covered books, from 1-50. I also have 4 of the original blue colored hardback books from the 1940's which were my mother's. :)

Maple and Brown Sugar Air Fryer Bacon

I've been raving about my Instant Pot but now I have a new favorite... the Air Fryer.   O M G This thing is amazing!  I don't know why I was so late to the Air Fryer craze but I am so glad I am finally onboard.   I've been talking about getting one and then after my aunt posted pics of her new air fryer, that was it off to Best Buy I went.   I wasn't sure how big of a unit I would need but I figured the 2.5 liter would suffice.  I chose the Chefman Express.  It was priced on the shelves for $85 but online for $75.99 and my local store matched the price AND I had my Swagbucks Best Buy QR code so I got 500 SBs + 2 SBs for every dollar spent so that's another 170 SBs.  So, after discounts, my air fryer ended up costing me less than the sale price.  Woohoo! There were some fancy ones on the shelves with digital display but after checking the reviews I figured since I don't fry much this model would suffice. When I think of fried foods, I think

A Pit Stop at Sho Nuff Hot Tamales in Greenville, Mississippi

My cousin and I were driving along and our tummies were rumbling as we crossed the Mississippi state line on US-82.  We didn't really have any particular dish in mind for lunch but we started seeing signs saying "Hot Tamales". "Hot Tamales", my Philly cousin asked. "Yep", I replied nonchalantly.  "I remember reading something about hot tamales being a big thing here in the Delta."   We kept driving and finally decided we would have to try these famous Mississippi Delta hot tamales. Now to decide which one.  There were literally dozens of tamale spots.  We happened upon a restaurant called Sho-Nuff and decided it was the one. We parked and entered the large, delightfully decorated restaurant.  The wall was plastered with local and national awards in recognition of those hot tamales.   There was a sign touting Sho-Nuff as the winner of the local newspaper's favorite restaurant award and 3rd place winner in the annual  Delta Hot Ta
