I Can Only Imagine is one of my favorite songs of faith. The song holds a special place in my heart as Hubby and I had moved cross country around the time it was released. I was going through a period of adjustment in my life and the song helped me through.
The lyrics seemed to resonate with so many others as the song topped charts for nearly 2 decades, yes 20 years. The song has been recorded by contemporary artists, country artists and most recently by gospel award winning artist, Tamela Mann.
Few songs make the transition to the big screen but I Can Only Imagine did just that in the Spring of 2018. Box Office Mojo said the film is the 3rd top grossing music biopic of all time earning over $80 million since it's March 2018 release.
