Eek, I do not like mincemeat, but I do love pumpkin stuff! Yum.

And my daughter howls at the moon often. She says she's a wolf.

Not a fan of mincemeat anything. We grow our own cooking pumpkins so I store enough to use all year long.

I actually don't know if I've ever had mincemeat before. Maybe I've tried it but I can't say for certain. Is that weird?!

Gotta be honest...never had mincemeat. I can't decide if it sounds like it would be good or just weird. We do have our pumpkin. It's HUGE! My son loves carving and every year says he wants a bigger one so this year he's got it.

I used to turn my nose at mincemeat. After I tried it, I found it's not bad. Of course, I'd rather have a pumpkin pie any day!

I had no idea that it was actually pumpkin day! I made pumpkin seed bark this morning.

Mincemeat was something I would make for my Dad and Mother-in-law but I just couldn't take it. A good pumpkin pie is about the only way I like pumpkin (or my good mousse recipe (on blog).

Now that I think about it, I haven't had mincemeat in a while. It was a fairly common treat when I was growing up.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...
