25 Tasty Recipes Featuring Asparagus

Last month we visited a restaurant and Hubby ordered cedar plank salmon topped with asparagus.  The asparagus was the saddest lil' asparagus I've ever seen.  It was overcooked, dipped in some kinda oil and such a disappointment.

Asparagus is one of our favorite veggies.  It's packed full of vitamins K, C, A and folate and can be sauteed, steamed, grilled, broiled or boiled. Asparagus has a rather distinct taste - sort of a cross between green beans and broccoli.

In my search to find new and tasty ways to prepare asparagus I found lots of recipes online and I am so excited to share them with you.

Here are 25 recipes sure to delight your tastebuds.
Enjoy!

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...
