Cake Batter 'Nice' Cream and 7 Other Cool Nutrisystem #NSNation Treats #ad

Ice cream, ice cream, we all scream for ice cream.
Temps have been hovering in the upper 90s and the weatherman has been telling us to be happy because we haven't "officially" hit 100 yet.
Well, my car says different.  Got in my yesterday and saw this...
100 degrees.
Posted a pic on Facebook and my nephew, who's currently serving in Baghdad, shared a pic on Facebook of temps where he's stationed.
                        120 degrees!!!
Crazy huh?
When it's this hot there's no better way to cool down than with bowl of ice cream.
Now that I'm losing weight I want to keep the momentum and so I am reading labels when shopping at the grocery store and ice cream, the REAL creamy, buttery smooth ice cream I love is soooooooo... off limits.
This is the first time in a long time that I have weighed in the '50s and I am on track to be in the 40s by the end of July.
Let's be honest who hasn't bought a pint of ice cream with the intention of eating one serving and ended up devouring the entire pint?  *raises hand

Goodness gracious and I here I have been complaining about our 100 degree weather. If it was that hot here I would probably live in the fridge and eat this delicious cake batter ice cream!

We've had a moderate summer here in Michigan but I certainly wouldn't pass up some "nice" cream. 120 degrees is insane heat, my husband served in the Gulf and can definitely relate.

I could not live without ice cream. I've had it as a meal sometimes in the summer. Halo Top is really good...low calorie, high protein.

Ice cream is a must on a hot day, but yes, it's not good if you're counting calories. That "nice" cream made with yogourt sounds like a healthy alternative.

Ooh i love these ideas. I used to be on Nutrisystem 4-5 years ago and never thought of blending the orange cream bar with ice for a slushee drink! And the spinach? WOW! Awesome.
Ooooh....Now that is hot, hot, hot! You're lucky to have found nICE cream to keep you cool. The flavors look fantastic, too! I've never tried Nutrisystem before, but have had several friends have great success with it.
We are big ice cream fans, we love it year round. I've never seen spinach and ice cream together before!

I just recently learned about nice cream. I'm in love, seriously. SO good.
Holy cow! 120 is insanely hot! Nice cream would definitely be in order. The salted caramel and mint chocolate chip flavors sound really good.

Summer does have its benefits like these amazing coolers. Vanilla Turbo shake is my favourite and I would love to binge on it.

I am an ice cream lover, but vanilla only. I just picked up two containers last night because it's on sale this week. Score! We are having a Sundae bar after family dinner tonight.
Love these milkshake ideas - never thought of cottage cheese and the Nutrisystem idea - fab!!

I've been adding plain sheep's yogurt for protein and probiotics

wow! it never really gets THAT hot out in MN, thank goodness! I don't know much about the Nutirsystem, but I DO love a nice cooling treat to cap-off a hot day... yum!
I, too love ice cream and can't just eat one! Thank you for this incredibly helpful list of ice cream options Also, just by discussion, I am much more award of the dessert pitfalls of regular ice cream..like I wasn't really reading the lablels!
At first when I saw 120 degrees I thought what in the world???? Then realized it was Fahrenheit and not like Celsius like we use here. I love Ice Cream so much and could eat so many different flavours!

Maple and Brown Sugar Air Fryer Bacon

I've been raving about my Instant Pot but now I have a new favorite... the Air Fryer.   O M G This thing is amazing!  I don't know why I was so late to the Air Fryer craze but I am so glad I am finally onboard.   I've been talking about getting one and then after my aunt posted pics of her new air fryer, that was it off to Best Buy I went.   I wasn't sure how big of a unit I would need but I figured the 2.5 liter would suffice.  I chose the Chefman Express.  It was priced on the shelves for $85 but online for $75.99 and my local store matched the price AND I had my Swagbucks Best Buy QR code so I got 500 SBs + 2 SBs for every dollar spent so that's another 170 SBs.  So, after discounts, my air fryer ended up costing me less than the sale price.  Woohoo! There were some fancy ones on the shelves with digital display but after checking the reviews I figured since I don't fry much this model would suffice. When I think of fried foods, I think

A Pit Stop at Sho Nuff Hot Tamales in Greenville, Mississippi

My cousin and I were driving along and our tummies were rumbling as we crossed the Mississippi state line on US-82.  We didn't really have any particular dish in mind for lunch but we started seeing signs saying "Hot Tamales". "Hot Tamales", my Philly cousin asked. "Yep", I replied nonchalantly.  "I remember reading something about hot tamales being a big thing here in the Delta."   We kept driving and finally decided we would have to try these famous Mississippi Delta hot tamales. Now to decide which one.  There were literally dozens of tamale spots.  We happened upon a restaurant called Sho-Nuff and decided it was the one. We parked and entered the large, delightfully decorated restaurant.  The wall was plastered with local and national awards in recognition of those hot tamales.   There was a sign touting Sho-Nuff as the winner of the local newspaper's favorite restaurant award and 3rd place winner in the annual  Delta Hot Ta
