Bedtime for Baby: Kid's Visual Study Bible

What's your favorite Bible story?

It's a question we asked the kids last week during Worship Service and it was nice hearing their interpretation of their favorite stories.

I got the biggest kick out of hearing one of the little ones tell the story of Samson. He had us in tears telling us how Samson was the strongest man ever but some lady thought he needed a haircut and cut Samson's hair.  He was so serious and told the story of Samson in a way none of us had heard before.

After hearing the story of Samson I couldn't wait to share the Book of Judges with our little ones and decided this would be a great opportunity to use the NIV Kids' Visual Study Bible I received from Booklook Bloggers.
Bible stories are perfect Bedtime for Baby stories. There are stories of adventure, kindness, mystery and more throughout the Bible and each story shares a life lesson.

I told my daughter that no matter what God we worship our children need to learn the Bible to be well educated spiritual adults...and to win at Jeopardy!

The NIV Kids’ Visual Study Bible sounds like a beautifully illustrated book that children will love reading. I'll be checking it out for my grandniece!

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...
