Bey and Jay Rocked Halloween with heir Barbie and Ken Costumes as PAPERCUTZ Debuts 2 New Barbie Graphic Novels

So Bey and Jay rocked Halloween with their Barbie and Ken costumes but there's nothing like the original Barbie.  Barbie ROCKS!!!

This year, Barbie, the world's #1 fashion doll, is making her debut in two new books from Papercutz this fall.

With two new original graphic novel series, Barbie and Barbie Puppies, fans of Mattel's classic doll can now experience all of the adventures of Barbie and her friends like never before!

Barbie Graphic Novel Vol. 1, "Fashion Superstar," which is available now, finds Barbie diving into the high-stakes world of fashion. As Barbie pursues her dream, she meets a diverse bunch of all-new friends that can help her... and some others that may actually try to end her fashion career before it even starts!

The second of the new Barbie graphic novels is "Puppy Party" from the Barbie Puppies series, which will be released on November 29.

Based on the popular Barbie Puppies DVD films "The Great Puppy Adventure" and "A Puppy Chase," "Puppy Party" tells the story of Barbie and her sisters entering their pups - Honey, Rookie, Taffy and DJ - in a dog show in the city. But when the puppies get lost, the adventure begins!

These new graphic novels featuring the life and adventures of Barbie are just what young readers have been waiting for. While the Barbie franchise has taken many other forms in music, movies and more, this is the first time in over 25 years that this globally-recognized figure will be the subject of a graphic novel. These fun stories let Barbie fans enjoy her adventures in one of the fastest growing mediums in kids' media and they're sure to be a perennial favorite in libraries, schools and homes across America.

A third graphic novel series, Barbie Starlight, is slated for release later this year.

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY! GIVEAWAY HOP

Hello Spring!

I am so excited for Spring 2018.  Not that I have anything major planned or anything.  Well, I am on a cruise right now.  Oh yeah, I'm on my way to Cozumel for a few days of rest, relaxation and margaritas.

What a way to welcome Spring huh?  What about you?  What are your Spring travel plans?  Are you and the family hitting the road?  Catching a flight somewhere?  Where ya headed?

Nothing like a little extra spending money when on vacation and I am so excited for this Rain Rain Go Away! Giveaway Hop.  This is my 3rd year participating in this fun hop sponsored by The Mommy Island and The Kids Did It and each year it gets bigger and bigger.

There are some really great prizes up for grabs and add some new blogs to your reading list plus your chance to win a $40 Visa eGift Card.  Why $40 you ask.  Well that's because I-40 is the interstate we typically travel to most of our Spring Break destinations.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways.

This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.

Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.
'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!!
As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish.

OH! The Places You'll Go! Giveaway Hop + 7 Out of the Box Uses for Erasers

Another Summer has come and gone and it's time to head Back to School!

If you're anything like me you took advantage of all those Back to School deals and stocked up on all those back to school deals and now have a surplus of school supplies which will probably end up in a junk drawer or put away someplace where you will never find it when you need it.

Take for instance those pink erasers.  I buy a pack every year and every year without fail my family gives me that look when they see that pack of lone erasers in the back to school shopping cart.

Here are a few of my favorite ways to use erasers around the house

Erase away scuffs on your kitchen floor with an eraser.

Easily remove your kid's pop-up crayon masterpiece from the walls with an eraser.

Remove stains from suede boots by gently brushing the eraser across the stain until it's gone.

Keep those tickling ivory piano keys nice and clean by erasing stains with one quick swipe.

Stubborn zippers loosen quickly by rubbing…
