Needing a Fresh Start? Check Out these Inspirational Reads by Joel Osteen

Here we are. Month two of the new year and by now the get up and go fervor you had just last month has got up and left. Before you throw in the towel, remember every single day is an opportunity to begin anew.

Joel Osteen, Senior Pastor of Lakewood Church of Houston, is a truly inspirational writer who embodies the every day is a opportunity to begin anew mentality.  Osteen pens several books throughout the year and often pairs his books with a journal to help the reader dive deeper into their studies.  His books are easy to read and blunt.  No sugar coating here.  Osteen presents a thought-provoking message in a conversational tone.  He's a preacher but the books aren't "preachy".

Some of my favorite books by Osteen are

You Can You Will

Break Out

2016 brings us a new crop of books by famed author, Joel Osteen beginning with Fresh Start.  In this new book, Osteen offers "8 keys to staying connected with God."  Does that sound familiar?  The number 8 appears often within Osteen's book titles.  In some of his earlier writings, he offers 8 tips or 8 keys.  The number 8 symbolizes new beginnings and Osteen's writings are often about new beginnings.  A new season.  Rejuvenation.  That being said, what better title for his latest writing than,

Fresh Start

In his latest work, bestselling author Joel Osteen offers practical insight and encouragement for a new beginning with God--essentials about who He is, who we are, and how with Him we can fulfill our destiny.

God loves to give people fresh starts. He wants everyone to see His blessings in new ways so we can reach our full potential and achieve extraordinary levels of success. In this truly one-of-a-kind guide, Joel Osteen encourages growing Christians with a "How to Study the Bible" and "Bible Promises" feature to help everyone find the courage to start over and live their best lives now. In FRESH START, readers learn what it takes to rise to a new level of honor, a new level of influence, and a new level of favor.

Osteen's book are available wherever books are sold including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Target and at many other online retailers.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...
