Family Fun Time at America’s Incredible Pizza Company in Memphis, TN

We recently visited the America’s Incredible Pizza Company in Memphis, Tennessee. This location is just 1 of 9 locations throughout the U.S. and Mexico. America’s Incredible Pizza Company is a great place for hours of family fun. There are so many attractions including tons of video games, bumper cars, laser tag, go karts, XD Theater and the Incredible Spin Roller Coaster. Not bad when you factor in the all you can eat buffet, which includes beverage (Priced between $6.99 (kids 6-12) - $9.99 for adults and there’s a $7.99 Lunch Special for adults available Monday – Friday between the hours of 11 AM – 4 PM).

The salad bar area was clean and there was plenty of staff on hand to make sure there was a rotation of fresh food items on the buffet. Surprisingly, the three boys and an old lady pretty much piled some pizza on a plate, took a few bites and bolted straight for the game area.  Hubby and moi, on the other hand, enjoyed the pasta selections and the pizza varieties and found just about every salad bar topping imaginable.

The game area is HUGE! A few games of Skeeball and Wheel of Fortune yielded enough tix for some candy and a few trinkets including a whoopee cushion and some fashionable rings. Besides video games, there's even an area set aside for tots complete with a train and dozens of rides for them to enjoy.  The game area is really large and gets pretty busy so I suggest securing a table in the dining area as a meet up spot in case anyone needs more money added to their play card. Although, it wasn’t crowded on the day we visited, I can only imagine America’s Incredible Pizza Company gets pretty during warmer weather seasons.

America’s Incredible Pizza Company is ideal for some family fun time. With so many activities to choose from, it was difficult narrowing it down to just one. Whether you choose to race against the kids in the go karts or bump it up in the bumper cars. We opted for Laser Tag. The Laser Tag arena was spacious and the America’s Incredible Pizza Company staff made sure all patrons adhered to the rules and were kept safe. I really appreciated the extra attention to safety as there was a mixed group ranging from elementary school aged to adults and the mommy me worried about little ones getting trampled in the darkness.

We didn’t get to enjoy all of the play areas during our visit so I guess we’ll have to visit America’s Incredible Pizza Company again and check out more of their attractions.  What attractions do you think your family would enjoy the most?

Bumper Cars?
     Laser Tag?
          XD Theater?
              Video Games?
                    Tiny Town?
                         Go Karts?

Maple and Brown Sugar Air Fryer Bacon

I've been raving about my Instant Pot but now I have a new favorite... the Air Fryer.   O M G This thing is amazing!  I don't know why I was so late to the Air Fryer craze but I am so glad I am finally onboard.   I've been talking about getting one and then after my aunt posted pics of her new air fryer, that was it off to Best Buy I went.   I wasn't sure how big of a unit I would need but I figured the 2.5 liter would suffice.  I chose the Chefman Express.  It was priced on the shelves for $85 but online for $75.99 and my local store matched the price AND I had my Swagbucks Best Buy QR code so I got 500 SBs + 2 SBs for every dollar spent so that's another 170 SBs.  So, after discounts, my air fryer ended up costing me less than the sale price.  Woohoo! There were some fancy ones on the shelves with digital display but after checking the reviews I figured since I don't fry much this model would suffice. When I think of fried foods, I think

The regular price is $10 so to find them on sale for 50 cents was a deal. We cleared the shelves. A few rows down we spotted some anima

A Pit Stop at Sho Nuff Hot Tamales in Greenville, Mississippi

My cousin and I were driving along and our tummies were rumbling as we crossed the Mississippi state line on US-82.  We didn't really have any particular dish in mind for lunch but we started seeing signs saying "Hot Tamales". "Hot Tamales", my Philly cousin asked. "Yep", I replied nonchalantly.  "I remember reading something about hot tamales being a big thing here in the Delta."   We kept driving and finally decided we would have to try these famous Mississippi Delta hot tamales. Now to decide which one.  There were literally dozens of tamale spots.  We happened upon a restaurant called Sho-Nuff and decided it was the one. We parked and entered the large, delightfully decorated restaurant.  The wall was plastered with local and national awards in recognition of those hot tamales.   There was a sign touting Sho-Nuff as the winner of the local newspaper's favorite restaurant award and 3rd place winner in the annual  Delta Hot Ta
