Last week the Sweet 'N Low sampling truck stopped by the Insane Inflatable 5k in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Los Tres Amigos and some of our friends signed up to volunteer for the 5k as it raises funds for a couple of our favorite local charities. Finding out the Sweet 'N Low Sampling Truck would be at the event was a bonus given Sweet 'N Low is making a donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters for every cup sampled. You get to sample a fab beverage and donate to a great charity at the same time... WINNER WINNER!!!

The 5k was so much fun! We climbed up, we slid down! We raced over and under and through and into obstacles left and right!!

If you look closely you can see the youngest of Los Tres Amigos helping set up this obstacle for the onslaught of nearly 1300 registered participants. Our favorite obstacle was ...drumroll please... the Big Balls.

We had fun navigating through the Insane Inflatable 5k obstacles and it was nice to cool down with some Sweet 'N Low sweetened tea from the Sweet 'N Low Sampling Truck.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing. The birds are singin'. The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up. So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound. It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year. Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach. 'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before. Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada. Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila. The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.
