Los Tres Amigos are in the school band. It's a joy for me because I have absolutely no musical talent whatsoever beyond an occasional butchered version of "Chopsticks". The youngest play the clarinet and the eldest plays the baritone. This school year has been full of competitions and performances which have kept the kids quite busy.
Prepping for performances requires reading, listening and studying the pieces to be performed. It amazes me how their young minds are able to play such complicated pieces. Los Tres Amigos have mastered the classics by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi and others and even managed to learn a few popular pieces by Brittany Spears, Madonna, Drake and more. This year's final performance will be like none other. This year, they're learning Ray Charles. *screams OMG*
The kids were headphones while practicing or listening to pieces. The over the head headphones are heavy and not practical for wearing for long periods of times. Ear buds often fall while wearing them so we needed another option. Thanks to the folks at Bedphones for introducing us to a light, soft headphone option.
Bedphones are 1/4″ thick, lay flat against your ears and are covered in a soft foam which molds comfortably around the ear to stay put. Bedphones are perfect for late night listening, or in our case, perfect for long hours of wear.
Bedphones come packaged in a travel pouch complete with 2 cushions and a sleep mask. A sleep mask? That's because Bedphones are marketed as earphones for sleeping and travel. Truth be told, I kept the sleep mask and use my kids' Bedphones whenever I can because they are much more comfortable than my ear buds and they stay in place better than my other over the ear headphones.
