How Do You Celebrate NCAA Game Day?

Disclosure:  This is a sponsored post by Global Influence.  The thoughts expressed below are mine.

Cheering on our fave NCAA teams is a family tradition.   The Three Boys and an Old Lady household is all about cheering on our fave teams but the ONLY thing Hubby and I have in common when it comes to our teams are the team colors - crimson red and white.  Hubby and his friends loves their Razorbacks and the SEC Division but it's the Big Ten for me.

During NCAA football season, our home is full of family and friends gathered around the big screen cheering on our fave teams.  Seems everyone has their traditions when it comes to the big game.  For us it's all about the food and the gear.  Hubby loves to fire up the grill just as the game begins and by halftime the food is ready.  However, way before the mesquite wood chars, we love to suit up in our fave team gear.

My fave is my Indiana University sweatshirt.  I've had it for over a decade and put it on every single time my team plays.

Hubby has tons of tees and shirts of his fave team including this one he's had for years.  It's tattered and torn, there's a hole in one of the sleeves and the letters are faded but it's his favorite shirt.

Oh, he's also got another fave team shirt a friend gifted him with a few Christmases ago.  He didn't wear it much at first until he went to Hawaii.  The shirt was a hit!!!  He received so many compliments on this conversational piece of a shirt and even met a few University of Arkansas alumni while on vacation.  This shirt draws attention whenever he wears it and he loves it.

Our Saturdays are all about NCAA College Football and we are looking forward to watching the bowl games on Christmas day!  I'm also excited to see NCAA, Walmart, Axe, Dove Men+ and Degree have partnered for a Walmart NCAA promotion and you can score a $5 Walmart gift card when you  purchase $15 of Axe, Degree, or Dove Men+ Care products in one transaction.

Also, you could win a trip for you and a friend to a college bowl game.  How exiting!!! Click here for more info on how to enter.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...
