Mary Lambert Heart On My Sleeve Album Review

I have been jamming to Mary Lambert's "Heart on My Sleeve" album and thought it's time I share my thoughts on my fave tracks. It's been about a week since I wrote about my excitement about her album being released http://threeboysandanoldlady.blogspot.com/2014/10/mary-lambert-releases-new-album.html.

One of my fave tracks is the honest "Secrets". Mary croons "I don't care if the world knows what my secrets are..." What a sense of empowerment these lyrics give me. The track has a catchy chorus, it's honest and fun. Kinda seems like she comes clean about Mary. There comes a time when you just have to have an I don't care attitude to get through some of the difficult times.

Another fave is the saucy track "So Far Away" where she writes "Kiss me like the world is gonna disappear." Oh, I love that line.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing. The birds are singin'. The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up. So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways.
