Introducing Makeup by ONE DIRECTION #makeupby1D




Earlier this Summer, Niall of One Direction tweeted about 1D makeup (https://twitter.com/NiallOfficial/status/481098167816294401) and it's here... it's FINALLY here.  Seriously, I remember watching Entertainment Tonight when they first announced 1D was entering the makeup game.  This is HUGE news.

 My Thoughts:  I received the Midnight Memories Looks Collection for review.  Each tin comes with nail polish, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, eye shadow palette and "glow gloss". I LOVED the nail polish, eyeliner, mascara and eye shadow palette.  The lipstick included in this collection just wasn't a match for my skin tone and the mascara just added a hint of color.  In these days where everyone wants thicker, longer eyelashes, the mascara misses the mark.  
The "glow gloss" LOVE IT!!!  The "glow gloss" is a lip gloss that comes in a funky shade BUT changes to a cool neon orange when exposed to UV light.  COOL!  I am a lover of all things lip gloss but I've never seen anything like the "glow gloss".  
  

 Of course, 1D makeup would be a hit for any fan of the group but really any beauty product lover may find something of interest in the set.    I liked the "Metallic Steel" nail varnish. The shimmery flakes of silver and coal black were perfect compliments to the other items in the set.  


The Midnight Memories kit provided easy to follow instructions on how to achieve some fab looks including the perfect smoky eye.  The 4+1 eye palette features a couple of shimmer shadows and a creme eye shadow.  The colors in the palette complemented each other and I really liked the "Midnight Memories" silver glitter creme.  It was easy to apply and long lasting.

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways.
