I get asked about how I started blogging several times a week and I figured I've shared this story hundreds of times but never on my blog. I started blogging nearly 7 years ago but one post changed my life forever. In January 2010, I entered a giveaway - http://iamboymom.blogspot.com/2010/01/dentyne-gum-review-and-giveaway.html - and won. Yep, one win and I was hooked. Soon after wininng PR firms and companies began contacting me asking me to try their products and blog about it.

I don't think I've ever thanked I Am Boymom on my blog for fostering my love of blogging so without further ado...

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing. The birds are singin'. The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up. So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound. It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year. Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach. 'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before. Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada. Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila. The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.
