Empowering Others With Novica Review and Giveaway

Valentines Day is just around the corner and now is the perfect time to begin searching for that one of a kind unique gift for your sweetheart.  Novica offers unique, handcrafted gifts from all over the world.  I've been a Novica customer for several years and no matter what I purchase, I have comfort knowing my gift is a truly unique.  No two items are alike as each item is handcrafted.

A few years ago, a friend of mine returned from a missionary trip in Central America and I found a pair of earrings from the region she served in.  She loved the earrings, but more importantly, she was glad to hear of company that provided sustainable income for local artisans.  Novica grants artisans an opportunity to sell their wares in an international platform.

I could go on about how Novica is making a difference in the world, but I'd love to share a few of my fave items found on their website.  I have gifted newlywed friends with drinking glasses I purchased from Novica.  Glassware is always a great gift for newlyweds.
Round Ribbon of Sunshine Drinking Glasses
These hand blown glasses from Javier and Efren of Mexico are absolutely beautiful.  Since each glass is hand blown, there are slight imperfections which make each glass unique.   Javier and Efren have been perfecting their craft for years and their work has been featured in Sunset magazine.
I'm a huge fan of the jewelry found at Novica.  Whether it's a pair of chandelier earrings, waterfall or dangling earrings, there are so many earrings to choose from.

Check out these cultured pearl earrings.  They're the creation of Narayani, an artisan from Delhi, India.  She shares the story of how jewelry design has been in her family for years, yet she didn't fall in love with the craft until later in life.  Now, she and her daughter enjoy time spent designing one of kind jewelry like the earrings pictured below.

Novica has been featured in Vogue, The Oprah Magazine and even NPR.  Your purchase will make a difference, so be sure to check out www.Novica.com.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...
