HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE 2013: Allied Shirts

This year's Three Boys and an Old Lady blog Holiday Gift Guide features some one of a kind unique items and Allied Shirts is another fab gift worth gifting.  Allied Shirts features t-shirts you design.  This is a great way to feature family pics or even upload your child's artwork onto a custom tee, sweatshirt or hoodie.  Cool, huh?

AlliedShirts.com features an easy to use t shirt design tool.  We were able to create and order our custom-design tee in less than 5 minutes!  I created this Three Boys and an Old Lady tee for hubby!  Yes, that's MY logo on this custom tee!

Besides having 20 colors of shirts to choose from you will love being able to upload your choice of pics, Allied Shirts also has tons of great clip art you can use to unleash your creative fury.  You can add words in a choice of nearly 30 fonts.  Although I opted only to print on the front side of the tee, you can add text or artwork to the back side of the tee if you like.

A shirt this fly couldn't wait for Christmas so I had to gift Hubby with it the moment it arrived and he LOVED it!!!  A t-shirt gift?  Yes!  Imagine sending a pic of baby's first Christmas.  Now, imagine sending a t-shirt featuring baby's first Christmas!  WOW!!!

Allied Shirts are affordable so whether you're looking for 1 tee or 300, every tee is sure to be of the utmost quality.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...

Trust me. I bought a 6’ Christmas tree WITH lights, 2 animal massagers, 3 Jelly Belly BeanBoozled Jelly Beans Mystery Bean Dispenser, Christmas cards and wrapping paper less than $20 during an after Christmas Walmart shopping trip. I was searching for some cough syrup when my friend’s kid spotted the Jelly Belly BeanBoozled Jelly Beans Mystery Bean Dispenser on sale for 50 cents. What a steal! The regular price is $10 so to find them on sale for 50 cents was a deal. We cleared the shelves. A few rows down we spotted some anima...

12 Delicious Thanksgiving Leftover Ideas They're Sure to Gobble Up

I never understood why we prepare this humongous Thanksgiving dinner and complain about having so many leftovers. We manage to get rid of a lot of leftovers by making sure everyone has a to go plate and delivering dinners to elderly and homebound family, church members and friends.  Yet, there is always a lot of stuff left. After the last guest has left and after I’ve put away the last load of dishes in the dishwasher, it’s time to break out the freezer bags and storage containers and fill up the fridge with all the leftovers.  Here are 12 of our favorite ways to gobble up Turkey Day leftovers and a chance to win a $25 Walmart eGiftcard.   1.       Thanksgiving Casserole         2.       Turkey Roll Ups         3.       Turkey Club Sandwiches         4.       Thanksgiving Pizza  ...
