I M Primus Handmade Crocheted Hats, Backpacks, Scarves, Blankets, Earrings and More

I don't knit.
I don't wear crocheted scarves or hats.
BUT... I admire anyone who can take a skein of yarn and create something beautiful.  My friend, Itally, is that creative person.

Recently she began posting her works on Facebook.  Word spread of her quality craftsmanship and then folks started asking to purchase her work.  After seeing a few pieces of her work I asked if I could share them with my blog readers as I know many would love to ward off Old Man Winter with a custom scarf.

Funny thing is Itally lives in Cali, in the S.F. / East Bay Area and it doesn't exactly get scarf wearing cold.  I, on the other hand, live in the Southeast and today temps are in the mid 60s but next week temps will dip into the low 40s.  Winter is on its way.

Check out a few of her pieces she's created

The blogger in me has been hassling her to join Etsy or create a blog to showcase her handiwork, but she has yet to do so.  Maybe when she reads your comments about how beautiful her work is, she'll open an online store.  Oh, and if you're interested in purchasing any of her items drop her an email at imprimus81 at gmail dot com.

Disclosure:  Itally is a friend of mine and as a blogger I have a forum to share her beautifully created handiwork.  I didn't receive anything in exchange for this post.  I'm allergic to yarn and unable to wear my friend's products but they're so beautiful and I wanted to share them with you and give you an opportunity to contact her should you desire a unique, one-of-a-kind gift for yourself or a loved one.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...

Trust me. I bought a 6’ Christmas tree WITH lights, 2 animal massagers, 3 Jelly Belly BeanBoozled Jelly Beans Mystery Bean Dispenser, Christmas cards and wrapping paper less than $20 during an after Christmas Walmart shopping trip. I was searching for some cough syrup when my friend’s kid spotted the Jelly Belly BeanBoozled Jelly Beans Mystery Bean Dispenser on sale for 50 cents. What a steal! The regular price is $10 so to find them on sale for 50 cents was a deal. We cleared the shelves. A few rows down we spotted some anima...

12 Delicious Thanksgiving Leftover Ideas They're Sure to Gobble Up

I never understood why we prepare this humongous Thanksgiving dinner and complain about having so many leftovers. We manage to get rid of a lot of leftovers by making sure everyone has a to go plate and delivering dinners to elderly and homebound family, church members and friends.  Yet, there is always a lot of stuff left. After the last guest has left and after I’ve put away the last load of dishes in the dishwasher, it’s time to break out the freezer bags and storage containers and fill up the fridge with all the leftovers.  Here are 12 of our favorite ways to gobble up Turkey Day leftovers and a chance to win a $25 Walmart eGiftcard.   1.       Thanksgiving Casserole         2.       Turkey Roll Ups         3.       Turkey Club Sandwiches         4.       Thanksgiving Pizza  ...
