Last week some friends and I were having lunch and as soon as the meal arrived, every one of us reached in our purses to grab our hand sanitizer. Every single one of us had a bottle of hand sanitizer at our disposal.

I always have hand sanitizer on hand (no pun intended) because I have kids and they're always touching stuff they shouldn't and then next thing you know someone, usually me, gets sick. YUK! My kids on the other hand are not huge fans of hand sanitizer because many of the hand sanitizer products contain alcohol and it never fails that the alcohol finds the teeny-weeny cut on your fingers and burns like crazy when you use it.
CleanSmart hand sanitizer is different. CleanSmart products do not contain alcohol and contain a replicated version of hypochlorous acid proven to kill over 14 germy organisms. Since CleanSmart products don't contain alcohol, no more burning.
We received samples of both the hand sanitizer spray and gel to try. The first thing I noticed was the scent. CleanSmart had a light, somewhat odorless scent. The products dried very quickly. Lastly, no irritation.
In the Three Boys and an Old Lady household no scent and no irritation are a win-win. My kids oh so despise using my froo-froo hand sanitizers which leave their hands smelling like fresh fruit dipped in rubbing alcohol and the moment the alcohol touches their ouch they squint and wince. CleanSmart hand sanitizer felt like nothing. Almost as pure as water. Pretty neat.
Next year CleanSmart will launch eco-friendly household cleaners and I can't wait to try them also.
