Microsoft Office is one of the most widely used software programs in the world and the "For Dummies" book series is one of the best how-to guides in the world, so when the two partner you're in for a treat.
No more accidentally "learning" a fab tip or trick, with Microsoft Office 2013 for Dummies book you'll have all the fab tips and tricks and have a handy dandy guide to help you remember how to do them. My fave chapter was Chapter 19: Ten Tips for Using Office 2013. There was a great tip for reducing spam in Outlook by setting up a junk e-mail filter, creating a safe senders list and a blocked senders list. As well as, tips for saving to the SkyDrive, plus the power of right-clicking your mouse. Oh, the power of right clicking the mouse.
I would totally gift this to a college student or even the office administrative assistant or better yet, why not purchase a copy for the office. Microsoft Office 2013 for Dummies is easy to read and so well organized you'll be able to find the keystrokes necessary to complete the task at hand in a flash.
