Hubby's Fab Blueberry Pancakes and Our New Green Earth Pan #Spons

What do you do when your local grocery stores has blueberries on sale for 99 cents / a pint?  Well you make blueberry pancakes of course or at least that's what we in the Three Boys and an Old Lady household do.

I make pancake mix to store in our pantry for occasions such as this.  If you've never made pancake mix, it's easy and I'm sure you've got most of the ingredients you need already in your pantry.

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar
Yep, that's it.  4  ingredients and just store in an airtight container in your pantry or on your kitchen counter top until you're ready to make pancakes.

Once you're ready to make pancakes you'll need to add 1 egg, 1 cup of milk, and blueberries (optional) to the dry mix.  This is enough batter for about 12 regular size pancakes or 6 of Hubby's Fab Blueberry Pancakes.

Directions:  Preheat your skillet.  Pour batter.  Watch for bubbles.  Flip.  Serve.

Oh, you noticed I didn't say anything about oil or non-stick spray.  Well, if you're using a non-stick skillet like the Ozeri Green Earth ceramic non-stick frying pan you don't need oil or non-stick spray.

Wish you could've seen Hubby flipping pancakes like the pros on the food channels.  Quite the show.  I received the 10" Ozeri Green Earth Ceramic Non-Stick Frying Pan for review and LOVE it!  The Ozeri frying pan is much lighter than some of my other non-stick frying pans and besides that it's PTFE and PFOA free.  I had to look it up also but check out the product description below for more info.
The pan is available in 8- and 12-inch sizes as well and the vibrant neon green color makes it easy to find in your pots and pan drawer.  We've had our 10" Ozeri Green Earth Ceramic Non-Stick Frying Pan for quite a few weeks now and have done everything from fry fish to poach eggs to saute veggies and are very pleased with how easy this pan is to use. Oh, I should probably mention we've burned a couple of things in our 10" Ozeri Green Earth Ceramic Non-Stick Frying Pan as well.  Yes, it's fallen victim to ooey gooey quesadillas and grilled cheese sandwiches and I can happily say the melted cheese was a breeze to remove.

Buy It:  10" Ozeri Green Earth Ceramic Non-Stick Frying Pan is currently available on Amazon for only $33.26 and includes free shipping.

Disclosure:  I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...

12 Delicious Thanksgiving Leftover Ideas They're Sure to Gobble Up

I never understood why we prepare this humongous Thanksgiving dinner and complain about having so many leftovers. We manage to get rid of a lot of leftovers by making sure everyone has a to go plate and delivering dinners to elderly and homebound family, church members and friends.  Yet, there is always a lot of stuff left. After the last guest has left and after I’ve put away the last load of dishes in the dishwasher, it’s time to break out the freezer bags and storage containers and fill up the fridge with all the leftovers.  Here are 12 of our favorite ways to gobble up Turkey Day leftovers and a chance to win a $25 Walmart eGiftcard.   1.       Thanksgiving Casserole         2.       Turkey Roll Ups         3.       Turkey Club Sandwiches         4.       Thanksgiving Pizza  ...
