Twisted Sista Hair + Scalp Fix Review

I've been a natural hair diva for nearly 2 years now.  No perms.  No relaxers.  No permanent colors.  It is a challenge for me because I am so new at this whole "natural thang".  The last few months have been full of trial and error with various products recommended by fellow bloggers and some of the natural hair divas in my life.  It isn't often I find offers for blogger reviews for natural hair care products so I jumped at the offer to review twisted sista natural hair care products.

I received a twisted sista Hair + Scalp Fix Strengthen and Repair Kit and samples of twisted sista Curl Activator and Blow Drying Creme.

My twisted sista Hair + Scalp Fix Strengthen and Repair Kit contained Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner, Deep Conditioner Masque and Restructure and Repair Treatment.  During the Summer, I swim a lot and pool chemicals leave my hair in desperate need of deep conditioning to keep my tresses soft and manageable.  I can definitely see myself adding twisted sista products to my hair care regimen.
Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner:
Don't let the clear Vasoline-like consistency fool you, twisted sista Strengthening Shampoo yields lots of foamy lather leaving hair feeling silky smooth and that's even before using the Strengthening Conditioner.  I always use partnering shampoos and conditioners but my hair felt so good after using the Strengthening Shampoo, I was tempted to forego the conditioner.  The Strengthening Conditioner was okay, nothing major.  As much as I could go on and on about the shampoo, there was nothing about the conditioner that impressed me much.  Shampoo.  Love it.  Conditioner.  Well, it was aight.

Deep Conditioner Masque:
This product came in handy after a long weekend of play at our local water park.  My hair needed a little extra tender loving care and twisted sista Deep Conditioner Masque was perfect.  Wasn't sure if it was the macadamia oil but the scent of this product is fabulous. The consistency is really thick so be sure to apply sparingly.  A little goes a long way.

Restructure and Repair Treatment:
My favorite product had to be the twisted sista Restructure and Repair Treatment spray!  A little oily for my taste but gave my hair a lot of sheen.  To describe it one word, weightless comes to mind because it was very light and perfect for my two-strand twist hair drying technique.

Blow Drying Creme
Perfect for blow dry straightening but definitely not a "creme".  That said, I love, love, love this product and will definitely add it to my styling regimen.  Sometimes when I blow dry my hair it feels dry and loses moisture but this "creme" really did a great job keeping my hair straight which is a task when you go from straight to curly as often as I do.

Maple and Brown Sugar Air Fryer Bacon

I've been raving about my Instant Pot but now I have a new favorite... the Air Fryer.   O M G This thing is amazing!  I don't know why I was so late to the Air Fryer craze but I am so glad I am finally onboard.   I've been talking about getting one and then after my aunt posted pics of her new air fryer, that was it off to Best Buy I went.   I wasn't sure how big of a unit I would need but I figured the 2.5 liter would suffice.  I chose the Chefman Express.  It was priced on the shelves for $85 but online for $75.99 and my local store matched the price AND I had my Swagbucks Best Buy QR code so I got 500 SBs + 2 SBs for every dollar spent so that's another 170 SBs.  So, after discounts, my air fryer ended up costing me less than the sale price.  Woohoo! There were some fancy ones on the shelves with digital display but after checking the reviews I figured since I don't fry much this model would suffice. When I think of fried foods, I think

A Pit Stop at Sho Nuff Hot Tamales in Greenville, Mississippi

My cousin and I were driving along and our tummies were rumbling as we crossed the Mississippi state line on US-82.  We didn't really have any particular dish in mind for lunch but we started seeing signs saying "Hot Tamales". "Hot Tamales", my Philly cousin asked. "Yep", I replied nonchalantly.  "I remember reading something about hot tamales being a big thing here in the Delta."   We kept driving and finally decided we would have to try these famous Mississippi Delta hot tamales. Now to decide which one.  There were literally dozens of tamale spots.  We happened upon a restaurant called Sho-Nuff and decided it was the one. We parked and entered the large, delightfully decorated restaurant.  The wall was plastered with local and national awards in recognition of those hot tamales.   There was a sign touting Sho-Nuff as the winner of the local newspaper's favorite restaurant award and 3rd place winner in the annual  Delta Hot Ta
