I'm always saying I don't have much of a green thumb but I have a plant affectionately nicknamed "Grandma" that is nearly 10 years old. Yes, 10 years old. The plant is a peace lily that was gifted to me shortly after my grandmother passed and after the plant outgrew its original planter, I decided to transplant it to a larger one. I almost lost the plant but lucked upon a package of Miracle-Gro underneath our kitchen sink. It was just the boost my plant needed and it wasn't long before healthy green leaves returned.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing. The birds are singin'. The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up. So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound. It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year. Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books.
