Biff and Becka’s Stupendous Vacation: A Booksneeze Book for Children Review

Disclosure: Many thanks to Booksneeze for the opportunity to review Biff and Becka's Stupendous Vacation. I received a complimentary download of this book in exchange for this review.

Book Description

Biff’s anticipated family vacation takes an unexpected turn. How will he deal with bitter disappointment? Is his summer ruined? Will he be humiliated by his friends? The author paints a picture of a godly home to give encouragement and guidance to parents who struggle and kids who hurt. Biff and Becka’s Stupendous Vacation helps your child know how to deal with disappointment. It also helps children relate to family and friends with honesty and respect.

Our Thoughts:  Cute book.  The discussion guide at the end of the book was a nice way to facilitate conversation and get our kids talking about faith, family and appropriate behavior.  We spent a lot of time discussing Chapter 8 as it dealt with the topic of sibling relationships.  After reading and sharing this chapter, I noticed my kids, if only briefly, a bit more conscious of how each other felt.

Discussion guides are uncommon in children's books but including a discussion guide in this book really helped apply the concepts throughout to our daily life.  Biff and Becka’s Stupendous Vacation is ideal for school age children although younger children may enjoy having the book read to them.

Buy It:  Visit Westbow Press, Amazon or your local bookstore to purchase your copy of Biff and Becka's Stupendous Vacation.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three Boys and an Old Lady blog reader will r
