If your family is anything like the Three Boys and an Old Lady family, your pantry is full of cereals. Why so many? Don't laugh but we have three boxes of Honey Bunches of Oats cereal in our pantry: Honey Bunches of Oats, Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds and now, Honey Bunches of Oats Greek. Well, Honey Bunches of Oats are one of few cereals Hubby eats but he only like the Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted (original) and I like my Honey Bunches of Oats with stuff. You know Honey Bunches of Oats cereals with stuff like the Pecan Bunches, the one with real strawberries, and the OMG the fruit medleys. DELICIOUS!
Now, I'm a little late to the whole greek yogurt craze. It's aight but I gotta jazz mine up with a little honey and some fresh fruit. I so need to just enjoy food as it is, huh? I try. So when a box of Honey Bunches of Oats Greek arrived on my doorstep, I had a few almonds and a package of leftover cranberries and raisins on standby just in case. Turns out I didn't need to add a single thing. The cereal has just the right amount of sweetness and it's filled with these clusters of Greek yogurt covered granolas and of course those light and crisp Honey Bunches of Oats flakes. Yummy!
1 cup of New Honey Bunches of Oats Greek contains 33 grams of WHOLE grain per serving! WOW! That's over 2/3 of the daily RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) and it's the perfect meal or snack. Only downside, Hubby likes it and so do the three boys and the little old lady which means I have to share. *kicks rocks*
