My Thoughts:

There is nothing more exciting and frightening than pregnancy and moms to be will find no shortage of advice.  The Christian Mama's Guide to Having a Baby is a rather unique approach to offering pregnancy advice.  The book presents advice that is sure to make any mom to be smile throughout her pregnancy.  I loved the first trimester wardrobe tricks in Chapter 1.  Leggings, yoga pants and so many secrets to looking great even when you're not feeling so hot.

The Time Out for Mom sections scattered throughout the book offered great scripture and a brief devotional and was one of my fave sections.
The Christian Mama's Guide to Having a Baby is witty, fun and just like talking with a big sister and the pregnancy resources found in Chapter 15 were hands down one of the most creative takes on pregnancy I've ever read.  The chapter included a few pages highlighting the Bible as a resource.  Funny when you think about it, but amazingly true once you read it.  I could share some of my other fave pregnancy resources but why when you can check out The Christian Mama's Guide to Having a Baby for yourself or for the mom to be in your life.

The Christian Mama's Guide to Having a Baby is refreshing and moms-to-be will smile as MacPherson presents a fresh take on pregnancy.  Although it may appear comical and light-hearted, The Christian Mama's Guide to Having a Baby offers some serious tips sure to help guide the mom-to-be understand the late night cravings, morning/afternoon/evening sickness, and all the other "joys" of pregnancy.

The Christian Mama's Guide to Having a Baby would make a great baby shower gift for a new mom or a mom-to-be.

Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop

Spring is in full swing.  The birds are singin'.  The pollen is falling and temps are FINALLY warming up.  So what better time time to start planning our Summer getaways. This year - as always - we are beach bound.  It's one of our fave places to visit given we only get to the beach once or twice a year.   Last year's visit to Cozumel was one for the record books. We stopped by this little restaurant and dined on grilled shrimp in a cabana right on the beach.   'Ohana also has a line of tequilas in flavors I had never seen before.  Tropical flavors such as coconut, mango and pina colada.  Hubby and I tried the 'Ohana peanut butter tequila.  The owner said folks either love it or hate it... we LOVED it!!! As I was sipping all I could think of was how good this peanut butter tequila would taste as a baste on my tequila wings.  It would be like a tequila satay wings type dish. * * * G I V E A W A Y * * * One lucky Three ...
