#RedCarpetReady with Daily's Cocktails and Wholly Guacamole and a Giveway

I had planned on having a huge Oscar Watch Party at our home but Mother Nature felt otherwise so we ended up with about 4 of us divas gathered around the big screen hoping our fave feature film would win the big one.  Whenever there's a party for The Divas, the Diva host is in charge of refreshments.  This year we stepped it up a bit thanks to Daily's Cocktails and Wholly Guacamole.
For me to recommend Wholly Salsa products is saying a lot.  I grew up in Central Texas and salsa is the ketchup of the South.  Wholly Salsa is the next best thing to homemade, wayment, it's better than that.  I mean if you are solely making plain ol' salsa, it may be a close second BUT if you're looking for Red Pepper Mango Salsa or Pineapple Salsa then you'd be hard pressed to find a better salsa.  The ingredients are fresh and it's in the refrigerated produce section of the grocery store.  Salsa 'n chips?  Yes, but this is a Red Carpet party for the divas so I served sauteed garlic jumbo shrimp garnished with Wholly Red Pepper Mango Salsa.  I love it when friends ask for the recipe and I show them a container.  The look on their face is PRICELESS.

Now it wouldn't be a TRUE diva party without alcohol and I keep a little liquid refreshment on hand for the occasions like this.  Daily's Frozen Cocktails are perfect because I don't have to spend time putting the blender together and with so many different choices everyone can have their fave beverage.  It was a wintry 34 degrees outside so I bet you're probably thinking "FROZEN margarita, umm... not".  True, but here's a tip for serving frozen beverages on a cold, wintry day --> LET 'EM THAW and SERVE AT ROOM TEMP.

Daily's Frozen Cocktails contain alcohol and each pouch pours the perfect amount of frozen delight.  So those divas that could handle the chill while watching hot Ben Afleck strut up to receive his well-deserved Oscars enjoyed it frozen while a few of let our thaw to perfection.
The brightly colored Daily's Frozen Cocktail coupled with my Wholly Salsa Red Pepper Mango topped shrimp was beautiful.

I received an assortment of Wholly Guacamole and Wholly Salsa products and a $20 Walmart gift card to purchase some Daily's Frozen Cocktails for my Red Carpet Ready Oscar Party and had the opportunity to share a package with my blog readers.  However, I failed to get my post in on time but no worries.  This Diva believes in sharing.

One lucky Three Boys and an Old Lady blog reader will recieve a prize package containing:

• Four Wholly Guacamole and three Wholly Salsa products in a variety of yummy flavors. It will be hard to pick a favorite!
• A $20 Walmart gift card to pick up an assortment of Daily’s Cocktails Pouches (plus whatever you need for your recipe). The recent addition of three new light flavors (Light Pink Lemonade, Light Mango Passion Fruit Daiquiri and Light Margarita) make a total of 13 tempting flavors to choose from!

Happy New Year!

What better way to kick off the new year than with a giveaway! I am so excited to join The Mommy Island, The Kids Did It and 90+ other fab blogs in the first big giveaway hop of 2018!

Here’s your chance to start the new year off with a win. One lucky Three Boys and an Old Lady blog reader will receive a $15 Walmart eGift card. $10 may not seem like a lot but it’s enough to stock up on some last minute Christmas clearance gifts. Trust me. I bought a 6’ Christmas tree WITH lights, 2 animal massagers, 3 Jelly Belly BeanBoozled Jelly Beans Mystery Bean Dispenser, Christmas cards and wrapping paper less than $20 during an after Christmas Walmart shopping trip.

I was searching for some cough syrup when my friend’s kid spotted the Jelly Belly BeanBoozled Jelly Beans Mystery Bean Dispenser on sale for 50 cents. What a steal! The regular price is $10 so to find them on sale for 50 cents was a deal. We cleared the shelves.

A few rows down we spotted some animal neck massager…
