Before you ask why put a college girl's survival guide in a Mother's Day book roundup, let me explain. I was watching the news last night and a segment aired about a student at a local college who brought her baby to class one day after she couldn't find a sitter. The baby started to cry and her professor scooped the baby up in his arms and the baby was comforted. The professor and the young mother have since formed a bond.
There are thousands of young moms in college and the principles presented here apply to them as they would any other young lady, in my opinion.

A Letter for Every Mother by Kara Lawler and Regan Long is such a beautiful book. I always felt like my parenting experience was so unique and granted it was... to me... it was so nice to read the collection of letters to moms just like me.
The book is full of letters and surely your mom's story is buried in there somewhere. I read some of the letters and was brought to tears as I thought of my mom, my grandmothers and some of the other moms in my life.
The authors have written a heartwarming compilation of letters addressed to mothers from all walks of life, meant to celebrate, inspire, and uplift them on their parenting journey.
From one tearjerker to another. La La Lovely by Trina McNeilly is another FaithWords that brought me to tears.
I was broken. However, my faith in our Heavenly Father has given me a strength beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Creating a space for myself amidst the hell that was breaking in my life sustained me and made me the person I am today. I am strong. I am amazing. I am.
