Finding the Perfect Mother's Day Card and a Giveaway #MothersDay #lovehallmark

On Mother's Day I receive a card from Hubby and from each of the kids...all four of them.  My daughter, the Little Old Lady, always gifts me with the prettiest card with the most flowers.  The oldest of Los Tres Amigos seems to find a card to fit his frugal lifestyle.  The middle of Los Tres Amigos is a wordsmith and he manages to find the most eloquently worded cards.  The youngest of Los Tres Amigos is a comedian and his cards make me laugh. darling husband, always gifts me with a card that reads as if the writer took the words right out of his heart.  Funny how each of their personalities come through in the cards they gift.

Hallmark seems to know the right words no matter what the occasion.  Their selection of Mother's Day cards is like none other.  There's a card to fit every personality, every budget, every lifestyle and every emotion.  Whether it's a card for your mom, your sister, your grandmother, your mother-in-law or even your kid's Spanish teacher.  Hallmark has mastered written communication in a way like none other.
I received a pack of Hallmark cards and was surprised by all the new designs.
Hallmark has added many new designs like the Wonder Woman with golden lasso featured in this pic.  I'm gifting this card to a fab mom I know who just happens to not only be a wonder woman, but she loves Wonder Woman.   There's a fashionista friend of mine who will adore the exclusive line of cards inspired by Sarah Jessica Parker.   She's the Carrie Bradshaw of our circle of friends.
Hallmark's selection of Mother's Day cards ranges from 99 cents - perfect for the frugal card giver - to $9.99.  There's a card priced for everyone.  Plus, it's Hallmark so you can pick up a card at your Hallmark Crown  store,  grocery store, corner drug store, pretty much everywhere you shop.  Did you know Hallmark now offers personalization so you can add pictures and your own words to create unique cards for mom?  From now until May 10, you can receive a free personalized card with the purchase of 3 personalized cards.  What a deal!
Hallmark features cards in a variety of languages also.  We received this elegant Spanish language card and decided to gift the kids' Spanish teacher with the beautiful card featured below.
I plan to have all the kids in the Spanish class sign the card and gift to the teacher on the Friday before Mother's Day.  She'll LOVE it! I'm sure she'll treasure it for years to come and I can hardly wait to see the look on her face when the kids surprise her with the card.  (pics to come soon).
Finding the perfect Mother's Day card is just one of the tips in this weeklong celebration to mom and Hallmark has been helping millions put their heart to paper for years.  Be sure to check back for more tips to help make this Mother's Day the best ever.

Hello Spring!

I am so excited for Spring 2018.  Not that I have anything major planned or anything.  Well, I am on a cruise right now.  Oh yeah, I'm on my way to Cozumel for a few days of rest, relaxation and margaritas.

What a way to welcome Spring huh?  What about you?  What are your Spring travel plans?  Are you and the family hitting the road?  Catching a flight somewhere?  Where ya headed?

Nothing like a little extra spending money when on vacation and I am so excited for this Rain Rain Go Away! Giveaway Hop.  This is my 3rd year participating in this fun hop sponsored by The Mommy Island and The Kids Did It and each year it gets bigger and bigger.

There are some really great prizes up for grabs and add some new blogs to your reading list plus your chance to win a $40 Visa eGift Card.  Why $40 you ask.  Well that's because I-40 is the interstate we typically travel to most of our Spring Break destinations.

Here’s your chance to start the new year off with a win. One lucky Three Boys and an Old Lady blog reader will receive a $15 Walmart eGift card. $10 may not seem like a lot but it’s enough to stock up on some last minute Christmas clearance gifts. Trust me. I bought a 6’ Christmas tree WITH lights, 2 animal massagers, 3 Jelly Belly BeanBoozled Jelly Beans Mystery Bean Dispenser, Christmas cards and wrapping paper less than $20 during an after Christmas Walmart shopping trip.

I was searching for some cough syrup when my friend’s kid spotted the Jelly Belly BeanBoozled Jelly Beans Mystery Bean Dispenser on sale for 50 cents. What a steal! The regular price is $10 so to find them on sale for 50 cents was a deal. We cleared the shelves.

A few rows down we spotted some animal neck massager…
