IGIGI Review and Gift Certificate Giveaway [Ends 2/11]

Review and $50 Gift Certificate Giveaway
CONGRATULATIONS SUZY

IGIGI {pronounced ee zhee zhee} was founded in 2000 by Yuliya Raquel and celebrates the beauty that is woman.  The fashions are stylish, sexy and sophisticated and created for us plus size divas sizes 12 - 32.

IGIGI's Valentine's Collection features some dramatic pieces sure to compliment your figure.  Whether you're looking for a sleek cocktail dress like the Cybelle pictured below
[available in Royal, Orchid and Black] or perhaps a lil'  number to wow your Valentine, IGIGI is a great place to start.

Each piece is created with the plus size figure in mind.  Unlike other plus size fashions IGIGI isn't cookie cutter fashion, IGIGI styles fit here, there, and everywhere they're supposed to for a specific body shape.  Look, we're not all round or pear shaped and our clothes shouldn't be either.

The selection of dresses, separates and complimenting accessories helped IGIGI earn the distinction of Full Figured Fashion Week's Plus Sized Fashion Retailer of the Year

My Thoughts:  This self-proclaimed "fashionista-in-training" chose to review the "It's a Kind of Magic Dress".

The dress is multi-colored and goes with every imaginable color.  I paired it with a chunky, wooden beaded necklace and some standard black pumps.  However, this is a dress that could be dressed up or down depending on the accessories one chooses.

The pattern appears busy but that's only helps detract eyes from focusing on those areas you don't won't folks focusing on.  The  dress flows and accentuated my body in a way most clothes don't.  The fit was if it was just made for me. The dress hugged where I needed it to and draped over my body like it was custom made for me and me alone.  The long wraparound ties were long enough to wrap around my waist twice, as shown in the video, gave the appearance of a bodice wrap.

Although it was a bit low cut for my taste, I'm a cami wearer so I paired it with a black cami and voila...problem solved.

Funny thing I lived in the S.F. Bay Area for nearly 20 years and only heard of IGIGI only recently, now that I'm thousands of miles away, but I'm glad IGIGI fashions can be found at several boutiques nationwide. This IS a fab find and this "fashionsita-in-training" will definitely be purchasing more fab fashions from them very soon.
